Four Invoices a Year, One Report in November
Honest registered agent representation in North Dakota for $99/year. Includes the address used on filings, same-day scanning of legal mail, and reminders for state deadlines.
Conflict on the table before the numbers are: North Dakota Registered Agent.co competes with the company below and holds the same seat for $99 a year. Swyft Filings' pricing is Swyft Filings' own, recorded in July 2026.
What Swyft Is Good At
Swyft Filings has formed a great many companies quickly and cleanly, with an order process that does not make a first-time founder guess. Customers who used them to launch generally say so. Formation is not the subject here.
The Interval Is the Story
The published agent price is $149. The billing cycle attached to it is quarterly.
That is four charges per year, roughly $596 annualized, and our July 2026 check surfaced nothing resembling an opening discount. Quarterly framing keeps the yearly total off the order screen, which is exactly why the yearly total belongs at the top of any comparison.
Four Bills Against One Filing
Ready when you are. Ordering takes about five minutes.
Order Here| Event | Amount | Times per year |
|---|---|---|
| Swyft Filings agent invoice | $149 | 4 |
| ND LLC annual report | $50 | 1, every November 15 |
| ND statement of change of agent | $10 | Only when you switch |
| North Dakota Registered Agent.co | $99 | 1 |
Read the frequency column. North Dakota asks a domestic LLC for one report a year, in November, at fifty dollars. Swyft asks four times in the same span, and the four together come to nearly twelve times what the state collects.
Put another way: one Swyft quarter costs half again what a full year with us costs, and North Dakota charges ten dollars to make that stop.
The frequency column earns a second look for a reason unrelated to price. Four charges a year are four chances for a card to decline, a receipt to route into spam, or a lapse to slip past unnoticed, and a provider whose billing quietly stops is still the provider your state record names. One charge a year offers exactly one such moment.
The bottom of the published range is not ours, incidentally. BetterLegal holds it at $90 a year. Our $99 stands a step above the floor and stays fixed there, which is the more useful property when the comparison is against a bill arriving four times over.
What the $99 Includes
A compliant North Dakota business address, same-day scan and email of served documents, alerts ahead of the November 15 report, dashboard access at any hour, and your address kept off the public record. One product, one charge, one renewal figure.
The Filing That Stops the Quarters
Where does it go? FirstStop, and only FirstStop. North Dakota's Secretary of State handles business filings through that portal exclusively, which is why nobody can hand you a numbered PDF for an agent change. The document is a statement of change, authorized at § 10-01.1-08 for an entity replacing its own agent, and the fee is $10.
Effect is immediate on filing. No review queue, no approval from members or governors, no waiting period during which anyone has to guess who your agent is.
The sequence:
- Enroll here first, so a North Dakota agent exists to be named.
- Open FirstStop and select your entity.
- Fill in the statement of change with our details.
- Submit and pay the $10.
- Confirm the record, then cancel with Swyft.
One rule governs the order: new agent hired, then filed, then old vendor cancelled. The state expects the seat filled on every business day, and this filing is built to hand it over in one motion rather than to empty it.
Timing carries no trick. There is no advantage in waiting for a quarter boundary, since the ten dollars is identical in any week and the record changes when you file rather than when a billing cycle closes. Our change of agent page covers the detail.
