An Unpriced Renewal, and a Ten-Dollar Way Out of It
Honest registered agent representation in North Dakota for $99/year. Includes the address used on filings, same-day scanning of legal mail, and reminders for state deadlines.
A commitment before anything else. No renewal price for Inc Authority appears anywhere on this page, in any form, including as a range or an estimate. None is published, and a competitor filling that blank would be doing you a disservice. North Dakota Registered Agent.co wrote this and holds the same seat, in the same state, for $99 a year.
Month Zero: The Free Year Is Real
Order a formation through Inc Authority and registered agent service comes with it for twelve months at no charge. Nothing about that is a trap. A new North Dakota LLC has $135 in formation fees to pay, a bank account to open, and no revenue yet, so a vendor covering a year of agent service at that particular moment has done something useful.
Month Twelve: The Number Is Not Available
Their published materials carry the first-year figure and stop there. The renewal has no public price.
A market pattern, offered as a pattern and not as a fact about this company: prices that live nowhere on a website tend to appear at a checkout screen or during a call. Take that for exactly what it is worth and no more.
The structural point survives whatever the number turns out to be. North Dakota wants an agent named for every year the entity stays on the register. A recurring cost with an unpublished amount is a strange thing to sign up for, however good the free year was.
Month Thirteen: What This State Charges to Act
Ready when you are. Ordering takes about five minutes.
Order HereHere is the part that takes most of the pressure out of the situation.
Leaving any North Dakota registered agent costs $10. The fee is fixed by § 10-01.1-03(1)(c) of the Century Code, which prices a statement of change at ten dollars. That is the entire cost of changing your mind, and it does not climb because you changed it in a hurry.
So the worst case is bounded. You take the free year, a quote eventually arrives that you dislike, and ten dollars plus a few minutes declines it. Compare that with the arrangements where an unpublished renewal genuinely hurts: multi-year contracts, narrow cancellation windows, transfer fees for moving records. North Dakota's agent line has none of those attached.
Whenever You Want: What We Charge
$99 a year. The second year is $99. The sixth year is $99. That figure sits here in print rather than behind a phone call, which is the only claim this page is really making.
It covers a compliant North Dakota address on your filings, same-day scanning and email of anything served, alerts before the November 15 annual report, and a dashboard carrying every document we have received for you. Ordinary mail can be scanned too, at $15 per piece, and nothing else on our side carries a price tag.
We would rather say this than have you find it elsewhere: BetterLegal charges $90 a year, nine dollars below us. We are not the cheapest agent in North Dakota. We are inside the cheapest band, and both of our published years say the same thing.
What Actually Gets Submitted
You file a statement of change inside FirstStop, pay the Secretary of State $10, and the record updates. North Dakota routes business filings through that portal only, so there is no PDF to download and no form number to write down. The change is effective on filing, and nobody's approval is required to make it happen.
Sign up before you file. The statement asks who is taking over, not who is leaving, and the swap completes the moment it is accepted, which is why the incoming agent needs to exist first. Full steps sit on our change of agent page.
Both of Ours Are on This Page
